The city of Cambridge is required to reduce single occupancy car trips each year. Residents needed to see how easily they could get around without getting behind the wheel.
To get people involved, we created a new program including name, tagline, newsletters and promotional materials. A map overlay shows how long it takes to walk or bike. A contest encouraged folks to log their trips. And families got “goodie bags” filled with program related items.
