Shape up Somerville and the City of Somerville seek to encourage local shopping and a healthier lifestyle.
We created a series of 3 maps to show residents how close they are to amenities. SomervilleWalks shows distance in five-minute increments, SomervilleParks lists amenities and SomervilleMap provides a basic street map with room to add notes and directions. They were so well received the city moved forward with signage incorporating the map. This helped them promote the Community Path to Boston.
