ISED / Institute for Social and Economic Development
ISED helps improves the social and economic well-being of immigrants in the United States and worldwide. Many have farmed in their country of origin but are not familiar with farming in the US. ISED offers education to help these newcomers assimilate and survive economically.
Since this population often has limited reading skills, we chose a highly visual approach. Icons, color palettes and signage make lesson modules easy for teachers and students to use. And all materials can be produced on a home printer.
